First exhibition dedicated to the Swiss artist by an institution in France: over fifteen works produced between 2017 and 2026, across two floors of the Centre d'Art de Mougins, in the heart of the historic village.

The exhibition

On 6 November 2026, FAMM will inaugurate its second solo exhibition, In Plain Sight (En pleine vue), dedicated to the Swiss artist Louisa Gagliardi. On display until 4 April 2027 at the Centre d'Art de Mougins, right in the heart of the historic village, in partnership with the City of Mougins, the show is curated by Simon de Pury with Leisa Paoli as co-curator.

This is the first exhibition dedicated to the artist by an institution in France, occupying two floors and featuring works produced between 2017 and 2026: mostly paintings and three sculptures.

Gagliardi's creative process lies where digital meets analogue. Her characters rarely look at each other directly: they observe one another through windows, reflections and doorways, in interiors that seem outside of time. Visitors enter these scenes as intruders and construct their own story, which the artist deliberately leaves open-ended.

Louisa Gagliardi was born in 1989 in Sion, graduated in graphic design from ECAL in 2012, and lives and works in Zurich. Her practice moves between painting, graphic design, and digital image processing.

Each work begins with a hand-drawn sketch, developed in Photoshop, with the mouse extending the brush. The image is then printed on PVC and highlighted with gel, varnish, latex, glitter, nail polish, and paint—a tension between the digital surface and painterly materiality.
