Based in Bristol, United Kingdom, Beth Carter is a visual artist and academician at the Royal West of England Academy. Her unique art merges the human and the animal in sculptures and drawings that evoke myth and fiction. Represented internationally by galleries in Europe, the United States, and Belgium, her work has captured the attention of private collectors on nearly every continent. Her pieces are also preserved in the permanent collections of museums, including the FAMM (Women Artists Museum of Mougins, formerly the Museum of Classical Art of Mougins) and the Muskegon Museum of Art in the United States. Currently, Carter is contributing to the tribute to Pablo Picasso in Mougins, France, where her works are publicly exhibited at the Notre-Dame-de-Vie Chapel to mark the 50th anniversary of the legendary artist's death. Her work transcends borders, inviting deep reflection on human and animal nature through a mythological and fantastical prism.
