Woo Min Jung received both a BFA and MFA in Korean painting and later studied mural-making techniques as an apprentice under a Korean mural master. Through this process, she developed her method, involving applying white clay onto linen, and allowing it to harden, then scraping it away and applying East Asian painting pigments.

Her work is characterised by her natural worldview, seeking to understand the cycles and changes of nature, looking particularly at water, bees and stars.
